About us
Children’s House Zagreb or Home for children and young adults Zagreb takes care of children without parents or without proper parental care, pregnant women and mothers with children. It provides them with accommodation, technical support and security, and training necessary for the free development of personality. Today, we care about 250 children aged 0 – 21 years.
The management
The home is managed by the Administrative Council appointed for the period from July 26, 2020. until July 26, 2024.: president of UV, M.Sc. Hrvoje Pezo, MD, PhD, Deputy President Ivana Maras Pezer, B.Sc. Italianist and historian and members: Ph.D. Mandica Vidović, MD, Pediatrician, Mateja Mandić Blažević, MSc. and Mirela Bradic.
Children’s home Zagreb is managed by Jasna Ćurković Kelava, MD, with a term of office from January 24, 2022. until January 23, 2026.
The employees
The institution has 175 employees, of which 130 are nurses, social pedagogues, social workers, psychologists, speech therapist, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, educational rehabilitator, etc., 45 employees are accounting and administrative workers and technical staff: cooks, laundresses, maids, janitors.
As part of the home, there is a pediatric practice at the Center Health Center and a dental practice at KBC Zagreb.

Children’s home Zagreb has 3 branches and 10 dislocated housing units in addition to the Headquarters at Nazorova 49:
